A multi instrumentalist Darek plays the guitar, keyboards, bass and utalizes drum programs from various sources like Roland’s drum machine or synthesizer programs to accomplish his impressive creative output. All the instruments on any of his songs are played by him. He also does the actual recording.

With a three octave vocal range (younger years) Darek can also sing the lights out of a cover song or one of his own compositions. Of particular note is his acoustic guitar version of Without You. This popular standard was once covered by Harry Nillson & Mariah Carey. Dareks version is no less a masterpiece in its own right.
A Chef by trade, Darek was trained in culinary arts by several certified executive chefs who were themselves trained by Master Chef Milos J Cihelka ​​​
